What is smart DCA and how does it work?
Smart investing via Smart DCA uses a trading strategy that tries to improve DCA (periodic investing) by better timing buying and selling moments. This gives historically improved results, especially in a declining market.

We will then guide you through depositing crypto via recurring payment into your trading account and linking our Smart DCA strategy. What is automated trading and how does it work?
With automated trading, also called algorithmic trading, an algorithm is used to automatically determine entry and exit moments. These signals are sent to a trading account on a trading exchange where the orders are executed.

Does Thriven have access to my (crypto) funds?
No, Thriven does not have access to your (crypto) funds. When linking our automatic trading strategies to your trading account, you decide for yourself what you grant permission for. You will not have to give us permission to deposit or withdraw funds for you. In addition,you never have to ask us for permission to withdraw or deposit funds yourself. This means that you have full control over your own funds at all times.
I already have crypto, can I use it for Smart DCA or automated trading?
Yes, it is possible to deposit cryptocurrencies that you already own into your own trading account. If you don’t own any cryptocurrencies yet, we can guide you in purchasing them. Please note that we do not trade all cryptocurrencies through our auto trading strategies.
Is now a good time to start investing?
In general, there is no “best time” to invest. Timing the markets is extremely difficult, especially as a newcomer to the financial world. However, based on the past and various studies, the following conclusion can be drawn: The time that you are in the market is more important than the moment when you enter. This means that investing for the long term has more value than planning the perfect entry point.
I’m not technical, can I still participate?
Yes, our automated trading solution is designed so that anyone can join. Since creating a trading account, purchasing cryptocurrencies and linking our automated trading strategies can be complicated for some, we offer tutorials and videos. If you still can’t figure it out, we can always help you via our helpdesk. With a Premium subscription we provide a personal onboarding to guide you through every step.
is a masterclass required to use the trading solution?
No, it is not required to take a masterclass if you want to use our strategies. However, if you want more information about investing and investing in cryptocurrencies, (automatic) trading or compiling a portfolio, we advise you to follow the corresponding masterclass. What do I need to participate?
You only need a laptop/desktop and 20 minutes of your time to participate. During our onboarding, we guide you every step of the way.
Which trading pairs support the trading strategies?
Smart investing with Smart DCA supports BTCUSD (USD).
Our automated trading strategies support BTCUSD (Bitcoin), ETHUSD (Ethereum) and BTCUSDT (Tether) as trading pairs.
What strategies does the auto trading solution use?
Our auto trading solution uses a combination of different trading strategies. These trading strategies are uniquely developed by our team with decades of experience in various financial markets. Among other things, statistical analyses, trend indicators and pyramiding are used to determine trade settings and entry and exit times. In developing these strategies, data from the past is used to optimize the algorithms.
How do the trading strategies deal with the risks of trading?
Our auto trading strategies are optimized using historical data to minimize trading risks and maximize returns. Optimizing trading strategies is an ongoing process as more data becomes available as time goes on and the algorithms can improve as a result.
An important part of our trading strategies is the function that tries to identify the trend in the market. This feature is also there to limit losses of specific trades in case the trend goes against the open position of the algorithm. Based on historical data, the trading strategies have been able to significantly limit the maximum drawdown in the past. While we always strive to minimize risk, keep in mind that trading will never be without risk.
How can I take out a subscription?
Can I take out a subscription abroad?
You can take out a subscription from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia. Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece. Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
How do I switch tiers after purchasing a subscription?
After you have taken out a subscription, you can easily change your tier via your customer account. Click the ‘View’ button in the ‘Manage Subscription’ section, then click ‘Upgrade or Downgrade’ and choose the level you want. When you move up a tier, the services of your new tier are accessible within 48 hours. If you go down one tier then the services of your former tier are active until the end of the month. As of the 1st of the following month, the services of your new tier will take effect.
What is the duration of the subscription?
The subscription gives you access to your tier’s services and benefits for at least one month. Your subscription is automatically renewed monthly. Please note that you must inform us at least 48 hours before the renewal of your subscription.
What is the start date of my subscription?
Your subscription starts on the same day of your purchase.
Can I temporarily interrupt my subscription?
After the initial term of 1 month, it is possible to temporarily pause your subscription. This is not possible within the initial term of your subscription.
How can I cancel my subscription?
After the initial term of 1 month you can cancel your subscription by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by canceling your subscription in your customer account. The cancellation must take place at least 48 hours before the renewal of the subscription. You can access your tier’s services until the month you canceled has expired. In most cases, the extension takes place on the 1st of the month.
